MissionFi app — Where you stand: your shield, next move, safe to spend, monthly spend and total debt

Execution beats knowledge

Knowing more about money barely
changes what you do with it.

Financial education explains almost none of how people actually behave, and what little sticks fades within months. What separates the secure from the struggling isn’t how much they know. It’s whether they act, and in what order. Knowledge is the cheap part. Execution is where the outcomes live.

The widest gap in financial well-being wasn’t income or education. It was having a liquid savings buffer.

Who it’s for

Build around your military household

Your pay, your benefits and your risks depend on where you are right now. Tell us and the app is set up for that from the first screen.

Veteran

Rated, or still waiting on one. We build around the compensation you have and the claim you are still fighting for.

This is me

Active duty

Paygrade, allowances, and a PCS that resets your costs. You cannot hold a VA rating while you serve, so we never ask you for one.

This is me

Guard or Reserve

Civilian pay plus drill pay that moves month to month. We plan on the part you can count on and treat the rest as a bonus.

This is me

Military spouse

Often the one holding the budget together through a move or a deployment. Everything here works the same for you.

This is me

Civilian household

You did not serve but you share the money. It all works, you will just see fewer benefit checks.

This is me

Where you stand

Everything you own and owe, on one screen.

Connect your accounts once and MissionFi builds the picture: what is safe to spend, what is committed, what is still coming in. No spreadsheets, no guessing at month-end.

  • Multi-source income, including pay that is partly tax free
  • Committed and flexible spending, separated
  • A daily number you can actually act on

Your shield

One month of breathing room,
built in the background.

Your Shield is the buffer between a bad week and a bad year. It builds on its own out of what is left after your committed costs. You never have to choose it, and it is never switched off.

  • Always on, never a goal you have to remember
  • Every dollar traced back to a move you made
  • We tell you when it is used, so a dip is never a surprise

Debt and benefits

A payoff order that fits, and the benefits you may be owed.

Choose avalanche, snowball, or consolidation and we sequence the payments. We also check the VA benefits you may qualify for, because money you are owed is the cheapest money there is.

  • Family loans and cash debts you track yourself
  • Your credit report, soft pull, never affects your score
  • Benefit checks in plain language, never counted until approved

military CENTRIC

Most money apps get your pay wrong

Not because they are careless, but because they were built for one salary landing on the last Friday of the month. Here is what we do differently, and none of it is a setting you have to find.

Military pay doesn't fit a
single tax rate

Allowances, base pay, drill pay, a spouse’s civilian salary, each is treated differently. We count them that way.

Two paydays, or drill pay
that varies

Mid-month and end-of-month, weekly gig work, drill weekends that change the total. We project from the deposits that actually landed.

Benefits you may be owed

Money you are entitled to is the cheapest money there is. We check what you may qualify for, in plain language, and never count it until it is approved.

Back pay is one month,
not a raise

A lump sum is money you received once. We count it in the month it lands and never project it forward, so your plan does not quietly assume it again.

The loan inside the family

What you owe a brother or a cousin is real debt, even with no rate and no bank. Track it here and it counts toward being clear.

The gap after you separate

Terminal leave ends, the final paycheck clears, and compensation has not started yet. We show you that gap while there is still time to plan for it.
